A healthy mind lives in a healthy body. The health and well being of a child acquires utmost importance in the context of the child's overall development and particularly the physical and mental. Sports activities not only give an outlet to the bubbling energy inherent in the youngsters but also help in inculcating team spirit, healthy habits, ethical, moral and social values and above all, a positive personality. The sports department spots the talent early. It is then honed through rigorous training sessions. Then the child is fully groomed to explore new vistas in his chosen field in various sports such as Athletics, Skating, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Badminton, Archery and Cricket under the able guidance of competent and specialized trainers. They are motivated to participate in various competitions. The school offers excellent opportunities to them to participate at Cluster, Zonal/ Inter Zonal Championships. Sportsman spirit helps these young scholars to establish themselves successfully in life with identity and self respect. The school sports also help to inculcate such virtues as team spirit, perseverance, patience etc. and reinforce the need for self discipline. Regular yoga sessions are not only enjoyed by the tiny tots but also help them to improve flexibility of the body and alertness of the mind. Concentration is enhanced through daily silent sitting sessions which also encourages them to value the beauty in nature and sharpens the mental faculties.
